Probably the most faithful comic adaptation. The artwork often leaves a lot to be desired -- it's a very dark, gothic painted style that hides more than it reveals, which works well for some of the darker elements of the story, but provides no contrast to the moments of reality and levity -- making the whole thing look like an opium-induced fever dream inking.
I also probably shouldn't have read the collective notes at the end which make too many statements to the effect of "Mina is awesome and all the men are patriarchal misogynists who suck."
