Books like these are hard to listen to sometimes. The acts that the killers beset on their victims immediately foments an extreme level of anger for the readers.
However, understanding the "why" people do the things they do are thought-provoking. I am fascinated with how professional profilers train and learn to pin point the type of person/criminal they are searching for.

There’s some reiterated material here from the book, Mindhunter; but overall there’s sufficient new and interesting stuff to make this a really good read. Speaks more to the why as opposed to the how and who. I’d surmise it’s a better book than his previous one that’s getting all the recent media attention.

Interesting, sorta repetitive! I really respect John Douglas and all that he has done within the criminology world.
I look forward to reading his other books... I have Mindhunter on my shelf and definitely need to get to that one soon.
