As a big fangirl of the show I have to read the books.
Believe me when I say that I was not expecting to like it. It surprised me. I was definitely not blown away by it but I was kept entertained throughout.
I plan on continuing the series.

For fans of the Supernatural tv series, this book is the fun start of some bonus episodes. If you have never seen the TV series, this book will be hard to read because it doesn't give much of the background or history of these characters, so you might be lost. I especially love that there's a "Historian's Note" that identifies where in the timeliness of the show this story takes place. As a Supernatural fan, I am planning to read this entire series! I usually can read them all in one sitting, but they really are like fun little bonus episodes!

This was a fun adventure. I really liked that the plot was mainly around Poe. Also I liked all the rock music references. It makes me want to learn more about rock music. It was just a lot of fun especially since in is set so early in the show so there are mentions of things and I was like Oh you don't know x,y,z yet. Oh boys you have so many adventures to go.

This was a really fun and fast read. Do I think the author nailed the characterizations? No. But it was still an enjoyable read and I’m excited to read more of these.

I expected it to be bad, so that kind of made it an ok story in a way, since I wasn't expecting anything from it. Still nice to read about the Winchesters.

It wasnt the best. Didnt really follow the style of the show. We got a lot of random/unneeded povs. And the big reveal for both was kinda a let down. I skimmed a lot of description stuff because it didnt matter.

This is the worst rated book in the series, so im gonna read a couple more to see if it gets better.
