This was a sweet little holiday treat from Tara Wyatt. I'm familiar with Tara Wyatt's more romantic suspense Bodyguard Series but when I learned of these two contemporaries (this title as well as [b:Like Fresh Fallen Snow|31450450|Like Fresh Fallen Snow (The Graysons, #2)|Tara Wyatt|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1471532851s/31450450.jpg|52153364]) I really wanted to read another side of her writing.

When Snowflakes Fall tells the just-before Christmas story of Christie, a pediatric doctor just moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming. The reasons for leaving her previous job and life behind in Tulsa are a secret she's not ready yet to tell anyone, but unexpectedly along comes Luke Grayson. A single father who isn't looking for a long-term anything, trying to protect himself and his young son from going through heartache all over again. But the connection between Christie and Luke cannot be denied.

I thought, for being a short, quick read, When Snowflakes Fall really captured the kind of magical aspect that I find comes about during the holiday season. Tree lighting, parades, Santa, Christmas lights, etc. Just gives me the warm and fuzzies. Couple that with two people finding love even when they're not necessarily looking for it, and it's a win win all around.

I think the Tara Wyatt balanced the story out really well with the page restraint. We learn enough about the characters to be invested in their HEA at the end. Overall, I really enjoyed this quick read in the holiday spirit. Tis the season!

Cute Christmas novella

The story line was cute and sweet, but there was definitely not enough development with characters or relationships for this to be something that sucked me in or affected me. Just a quick cute read.

Another fun read by author, Tara Wyatt. Luke is a great dad to Ethan. Which, I just have to comment by saying that Ethan stole the show in my eyes. He was so adorable and the perfect wingman. I appreciated that both Luke and Christie had baggage. It made them more human and thus when they got together it was not only just about the physical aspect of the relationship. When Luke learns about Christie's secret, I thought he handled it perfectly. Together they learned to love again. Luke, Christie, and Ethan make a cute family. A good Christmas read for the holiday season.

Luke and Christie are a really adorable couple. Their relationship moves VERY quickly, but they both know what they want after very painful pasts. I loved watching Christie's relationship with Luke's son Ethan grow. So so cute.

Spoiler My only complaint with this story is that there's no resolution to the revenge porn plot. I would have preferred some type of epilogue or something that told us her ex got punished for his actions.

If you want a quick, easy, romance then this is the book for you.

These two really do have an insta love moment and their romance starts instantly. There's no build up of the characters and the world they live it - your thrown straight into the plot. I really liked these too characters and just wanted more of everything because everything seemed too short and too quick. I think there's great potential here for the books to be bigger and it would be so easy to make their story bulkier.

Ethan was a highlight and I love a single dad romance. The fact that Ethan was so involves was absolutely great and really brought some funny moments to the story. I highly recommend this is your wanting something easy to pick up.
