Who needs sleep or go to work when you have three hot men waiting on your kindle for you?

I loved this book which means I was laughing or crying through most of it.

Josiah just wants to love and to be loved in return. He is the glue that holds them all together.

Mateo has had a hard life. His 'family' making him do things that literally make him sick. He is the protector and would do anything and I do mean anything to protect the ones that he loves.

Tristan hides his emotions from the ones he loves because he thinks they will use his love against him.

Tristan's mom is awesome. Yes she 'broken' like the rest of them but all she wants is for Tristan to be happy no matter what it takes or who it is.

Riley Hart did an amazing job on this first book of the series. I can't wait to read the next one. photo 3_zpsaeee63d0.jpg

This book CONSUMED ME!! I could not get enough! I was overwhelmed from the very first chapter. My emotions were all over the place. I felt such joy and complete devastation. It was everything!! I can’t say I’m super surprised because I feel like MMM is such a journey! Riley gave us all of the things with Josiah, Mateo and Tristan. I wasn’t sure how she would bring them all together but she is queen so of course it made perfect sense and was seamless.

Sweet baby angel Josiah!!! His capacity for love was profound. He had no one. He had bounced around to different foster homes following the untimely death of his parents. He had no family and no friends. While his current foster home was safe and his foster family caring, he never felt like it was his home. Yet he embraced his foster parents. He was even diligent about school even though he was relentlessly and mercilessly teased for his background and sexuality. However, he was never apologetic about his life. He always stayed true to himself. He felt so alone until the arrival of Mateo. For some reason he just knew that Mateo was someone special.

Mateo came from a particularly violent family. His mother had been murdered and his father was in prison. He ended up in the same foster home as Josiah by accident. He was rough and very stoic. However, he found himself defending and protecting Josiah. It took him a while to actually warm up to him but once he did, they found themselves wanting to be with each other. Teo knew he was gay but that was absolutely not something he could own given the inherent threats to his safety. He was able to be himself with Josiah.

The boys found themselves leaving their foster home and fighting to survive. It wasn’t much of life but they could be together. At least until the threats to Josiah’s life happened and Teo had to turn him away without explanation. This left Josiah to fend for himself. He ended up on the other side of the country doing the things he and Teo always meant to experience together. He was alive but he wasn’t living. That is until he met Tristan. His life didn’t immediately change for the better but he did start to dream again after a while. Many years had passed and he and Tristan started to build a life together.

Tristan never made it easy for Josiah. He had so much baggage he wasn’t willing to share. He was falling so deep for Josiah but kept him at arms length. He refused to even risk allowing someone close enough to hurt him. Josiah offered him something no else had ever done though. He offered him a safe home in him. Tristan gave Josiah everything he could but those 3 little elusive words.

I won’t ruin how they all 3 end up meeting and sharing their beds and lives but I will say it’s not an easy journey but it is worth it and we get to experience so much growth and change for all of the men!!

I guess after reading all the reviews I just expected a little more from this book. There wasn't enough build up for me, especially in the third part. It just seemed a little too easy and I expected something a little more gritty.

I was just left feeling a little disappointed

This was not an easy book ... the first part was really difficult, but the second and third were really page turns

I really liked how the story was told in three parts. Though some sections seemed to drag, it all came together in the end. These were three different individuals who all fit together so well. Broken Pieces was a great title for the book. There was lots of emotion and the sex was hot.

Heartbreaking - soul crushing - tearful - happy - sad - emotional

That is just some of the words I would use to describe this amazing book. This is a story of three broken and lonely men. Mateo the gangster - Tristan the lawyer and Josiah the glue.

Mateo and Josiah met when they were young and made an unbreakable bond. But circumstances make it so that they can’t be together. Josiah starts his new life in a new city and finds Tristan. He is just as broken as Mateo is and he sees something in Josiah. He takes him in and together they try to move on from their past but it isn’t until Mateo shows up that they ALL fully start to heal.

I can already say that this one is one of my favorite books. It really stirred a lot of feelings inside me and I have to say I cried a lot through this book. Even though there were happy moments a lot of it was sad because of what they all had been through. It was an emotional ride but I was glad that I took it so…

If you love M/M or M/M/M and gorgeous men with a troubled past this book is for you.

I have just found my new favorite author [a:Riley Hart|7013384|Riley Hart|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1364660147p2/7013384.jpg]

I loved this soo much!! But the thing that bothers me is the cover! If you look at the cover you would think that this is some erotic threesome-story, and not that that would be wrong , but this wasnt the case with this story at all, this book was sooo much more than that!! It was deep, emotional and just soo good!! I highly recommend! And dont let the stupid cover judge it! (This is the reason I hate these kind of cover? Like why?? If I want something easy and erotic, fine, but this book deserve a much better cover than that! )

Definitely starting the second book right away!!

Broken Pieces was an amazing journey of love and discovering who you are. The first part focused on Josiah and Mateo, starting with their meeting in foster care and the love that grew between the boy from the streets and the lost boy. The second part focused on Josiah and Tristan's relationship, after beibg separated from Mateo. The last part brought them all together and was spectacular. A love that couldn't exist without all three. So beautiful and perfect. I can't wait for the next piece of the story.
