I'm glad Brittany was able to tell her story and bring awareness to how dangerous conservatorships can be. But, I think it could have been written better with some more depth.

If you’re interested in this, you HAVE to listen to it on audiobook - it is worth it to hear Michelle Williams (the actress, not the Destiny’s Child alum) say, “Oh yeah, fo shizz fo shizz!” 😂
This was honestly not a great book - it feels like Britney just told a bunch of stories and someone arranged them chronologically. There’s no real editing in terms of quality or coherence so at times it’s hard to listen to. It was fascinating to hear more about how she grew up and her perspective on some of the most famous events in pop culture. However, she has clearly been through a lot and that has led to quite a bit of narcissistic & martyred thinking, so you have to take most of her stories with a humongous grain of salt. I enjoyed parts of it, but others were painful in more ways than one.
