I do not know why I wanted to read this book in the first place, it is not the right vibe for summer reading at all. I might try it again in the fall.

I wanted something quick and easy after the Mockingjay, and this was perfect. I'd meant to listen to it last month to celebrate Halloween, but forgot about it in my Hunger Games haze. And since it's still autumn, I still found it enjoyable. Better yet, it's an Ariadne Oliver + Poirot, which I always like. Fun and witty and just what I needed.

Can't get over the slow middles to all these books but the beginning and the end are great so I still give them decent ratings!

i think i might have done a disservice to myself by making this my first book read by Agatha Christie. it felt like a nancy drew book and NOT in a good way. that being said, it wasn’t terrible but it also felt very repetitive and i didn’t like the ending. oops

This was my first Agatha Christie and I thought it was ok, didn't love it.

I think I probably would have enjoyed it more if I had read it physically and not audibly.
