I was so close to giving this book 4 stars but the ending was really disappointing. I loved the rest of the book and I really enjoyed the characters.

I thought the relationship was really well done, but once again there were things that got wrapped up really quickly and left me unsatisfied.

Somehow this book both over-explained hockey while also under-explaining hockey. There seemed to be more hockey terminology used in this book than the previous books without really explaining what it meant while also going into detail about aspects of hockey that didn't really need as much page time. Even then, the story was still pretty good and I think the enemies/rivals aspect of this book probably makes it my favorite of the series so far. The third act breakup was a little disappointing because, honestly, it felt like a repeat from the previous two books-Big fight, no communication, just ghosting and giving up.

One again, I really liked getting glimpses at the characters from previous books and I enjoyed the new side characters this one introduced. Overall not a bad read.

i wanted to like this one who doesn't like enemies to more but for some reason i didn't jive with it. I'm not sure if the iffy on page hockey was it or if the lack of communication so often was it. but it was not a favorite.

4.5 - i really enjoyed this!!! This is by far my fave of the three books - the romance / hockey was more balanced and i actually enjoyed the conflict as well. I honestly considered giving this a 5 but the ending was a tad abrupt and i absolutely cannot give a book with no chapters 5 stars because respectfully, what the fuck

THIS IS THE BEST BOOK IN THE SERIES!!! I was OBSESSED with Grady and Max’s storyline within the first 10 pages of the book! This is also some of the best smut I’ve read in a very long time. Great enemies to lovers story!
