A fun, flirty, and STEAMY AF strangers to friends to lovers romance that will have you craving all the ice cream you can handle!! I have been a HUGE Sarah Smith fan for years and this latest self-published romcom delivered on all fronts.

Full of sweet, flirty moments. emotional depth and TONS of heat, this book will have you reaching for the whipped cream and getting all worked up as you fantasize about Gage and Becca's sultry TikTok videos.

Many thanks to the author for email installments of this latest romcom. I loved all the ice cream combos and Filipino food references and really appreciated how well written this book was with its emphasis on close-knit family relationships and social media marketing.

I will be first in line for the next book in this wonderful new series that was the perfect pint size for summer beach reading!!

The spice in this one was off the charts! The book had me hooked from the beginning, when Becca finds out her shitty boyfriend was cheating on her and then proceeded to steal her hard earned money! I loved that Gage was the bad boy sexy tik tok guy and that he was Filipino - seeing as how this is something that might not always be celebrated in our culture. I loved the little tidbits of Filipino culture sprinkled throughout the book - it felt like the idea of being Filipino was just normal and not something so rare or exotic the way that it can be sometimes when the love interest is a POC. I love that Gage and his family just automatically loved Becca, and I love that Becca never saw them any different because they were Filipino. I could definitely see this being a movie on Passionflix or Hallmark, it was just too cute and fun to read. I thought the spice was really enjoyable as well, I love how respectful and kind Gage was to Becca - knowing that she had just gone through a bad breakup, he was patient and truly wanted to be her friend until the time was right for both of them. While I didn’t love the third act breakup, I did love the story and how everything was wrapped up into a perfect little bow for the HEA. I definitely love that this story created this small little word for the Grant siblings, I am looking forward to the next book in this series and hope to see a little cameo from Becca and Gage!

a fun steamy summer read!

You know the saying “when it rains it pours”? Well unfortunately, it is POURING on Becka’s life right now. Her boyfriend of 3 years just told her he’s been cheating on her, and after he kicks her out, he steals from their joint account close to $20K of her money for her ice cream store, Sweet Cheeks Creamery. Without that money, her ice cream store will not survive. After getting wasted one night, she gets on tiktok and comes across one of those account with a shirtless guy cooking, and looking absolutely sexy. She immediately decides that’s what she needs to do to save her store, so she sends him a drunk DM asking for help. She was definitely not expecting him to message her back, or for her to live nearby, or for him to be willing to help her learn to make sexy tiktok videos to try to save her store.
While they work together and form a friendship, things get heated when they start to film these tiktoks together, and one things leads to another and their on screen chemistry quickly turns to real life tension!

This was SUCH a fun summery read!! There is so much delicious steamy tension between Becka and Gage. Becka is this sweet cute girl next door, while Gage has this bad boy persona with a heart of gold on the inside. On paper they shouldn’t work, but they just do.

This is a short and sweet, fast paced romance that delivers all the spice and tension!

This was cute. If you want a lighthearted romance that flows easily and has low angst then this would be a good one to pick up.

I thought the concept of this story was cute & unique - get a sexy chef tiktoker to help get followers for an ice cream shop? I’m not even on tiktok but would watch the reel several days later like the millennial that I am.

Becca was fun & I liked that she always tried to move outside of her self-imposed “vanilla” box. Gage helped her but also showed his sensitive side, and that sexy tiktok could be fun too!

They had a great supporting cast of characters and I hope to read more love stories for this family!
