Art not as good. Storyline changed massively and didn’t draw me in at all. Characters were flat

Okayyyy. Red hood decides to start running a school for child villains because...crossover event? And none of the other characters on the book say “hey Jason, why are you doing this?”

I love the Red Hood!! I still can't believe Roy is dead tho. BRING HIM BACK PLEASE! Other than that it was so cool to see Jason as a teacher. He's not the bad guy he thinks he is sometimes you know? I love this series!

  • Oof, the writing takes a dive again here. Jason is not an idiot, Scott, and he apparently doesn't miss Roy except that he thinks about him nearly every issue. Get your own damn story straight dude.
  • Other than that, I don't hate it? Jason is good with kids and his rationale for taking this job makes sense to me. Glad to have Biz and Artemis back.
  • The kids are decent characters, bonus points for explicitly stated non-binary character, even if it sometimes came across a little ham-fisted.
  • Artemis making Jay take a minute to be not fine means the world to me.
  • And also, Jason has 4 brothers! Duke is his brother!!
