Kinda heavy handed satire but also really imaginative and fun in its descriptions and designs. It manages to feel a little overly long due to some serious side tracking toward the end which was unfortunate but oh well.
The scene where the old drug addicted priest tells Jolson its an “unenlightnened” take to say the “hippie” music is bad and that he clearly doesn’t understand the young people is SO 2021 I chuckled hard. Good on you Ron Goulart.
