ARC provided to me by publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I normally like historical romances but this one had a few too many things that didn't fit in with the time period. A shop girl would never have been that forward with a member of the peerage and the fact that Baxendale's mother had gone to a condom shop and handed him a pouch full of them also sounded incredibly inaccurate. I think she's a fine writer, if a bit flowery but the historical inaccuracies really took me out of the story.
