“Sometimes we’re dealt cards in our life that are harder to shuffle through than expected. And sometimes you’re stuck on a small Polynesian island with no other option than to pretend the person you hate most in the entire world is actually your boyfriend…”

This was my first Meghan Quinn. Also my first Romance novel in a long time. Hardcore thriller girlie at heart. But, I thoroughly enjoyed this story and the characters were amazing. Well some were *ahem, daddy Reggie, I’m looking at you. Poor Brody was my main thought throughout the whole story and whenever Jude and Haisley were around, I was wanting more of them. This was such a funny, lighthearted journey and I’m so glad I read it and can’t wait to read more from Meghan!

Bridesmaid For Hire
Rating : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

In classic Meghan Quinn fashion this was such a light, fun book! A true rom-com, it had me laughing the whole way through. The adventure these characters went on was so creative and wild, and I loved how the plot progressed. From enemies to lovers, I loved Brody's and Maggie's (MC's) banter and interactions throughout. But man, did Brody have the absolute worst luck, poor guy! He needed a leprachaun and some luck! But he was so sweet and caring with Maggie, who herself was kind and endearing. I loved her dedication to her business and helping others. Also, the spice did get spicing 😉.
I loved the ending as well! I can't wait to see more of these two in the future books of the series.

P.S. "Daddy Reggie" needs to get out of here!

This was very hilarious at times and a rollercoaster ride. I didn’t really care for/had a hard time relating to the FMC Maggie (I found her rather self-absorbed and petty, which I get makes for good drama, but that’s not necessarily what I’m here for). Brody was likable but my GOSH the guy couldn’t catch a single break and that made it tense to read. I liked this book better than “A Not So Meet Cute,”
but it was a pretty brutal third-act break up with him being manipulated so badly there at the end <\spoiler> which isn’t my favorite either, but it had a good HEA that made me especially curious about some of the other couples in the Quinn-verse.
