I really loved 'Let the Right One In'. I haven't seen 'Let Me In' - honestly, I don't see the point, because it won't be BETTER than the thing I already love. I was gifted with this GN for Christmas. It gives a little more color to the world of the movie (and if you pretend it takes place in Scandinavia, it's all the same thing, right?). Entertaining four-star story but I subtracted a star because someone kills a cat in the book and the cat looks like my cat. Kill as many people as you like, but leave the cats alone.

I loved "Let the Right One In, "both the book and film. I thought "Let Me In" didn't quite hit all the right notes (but got bonus point for Chloe Grace Moretz.) I thought Crossroads was going to be a bit more backstory heavy. Or, at least base on the blurb on the back, not have most of the action happen at the end. There wasn't that much build up to the climax, which was a let down.
Besides that I really enjoyed the art, particularly the coloring. It emulated the style of the film without being too exact.

Five stars for the art, 3 for the plot. I guess this graphic novel was meant to be a tie-in with an American re-make of the original Norwegian film? I thought the atmosphere conveyed in the original film was better than the atmosphere of the graphic novel, awkwardly set in Indiana.
