The Story of Sir Walter Raleigh (Yesterday's Classics) by T. H. Robinson, Margaret Duncan Kelly
marysee's review
4.0
This book can be a nice companion book to Westward Ho!
I really enjoyed the book and will have my children read it.
So many Proverbs came to mind when reading this. Proverbs 26:28, Proverbs 23:1-3, Proverbs 26:20
Raleigh was very ambitious and talented but became a victim to ambitious, jealous, lying men not to mention the queen of whom he was a favorite. It is dangerous at the top.
