The story is told primarily from the POV but of the two main characters, Jill and Nial; however a handful of other characters are pretty involved in the action.

The book jumps into the storyline already partially unfolding from events that began in the prior book.
When I claimed this as an ARC the blurb didn’t mention it was the third book in a series and I didn’t catch this to be the case in the book’s title. This book was entertaining, but I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had read the previous two books.

Jill is a spitfire who is more likely to offer up sass and snark than not. She’s traveling back to Earth with a sexy alien who gets on her nerves. Close proximity in a small spaceship has them at each other throats and then igniting a more combustible form of communicating.

Nial is a sweetheart for putting up with Jill’s snark and constant verbal attacks, it their proximity has him learning the human woman and pushing her buttons for other reasons.

This book is entertaining and has aliens, shifters and vampires working together. It was less ‘alien’ romance than I expected, but still interesting.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
