This is a very good conside pie cookbook. Concise in that it offers almost exclusively recipies and not stories about pies. The pies are favorites but often with a twist, a new flavor or ingrefient that make them very tempting. Worth reading.

Look, here's the thing. I love pie. Really love pie. Still, about 3/4ths of the pies featured in this book looked or sounded very unappetizing.
HOWEVER I did make one of the pies - a roasted strawberry pie with mascarpone cream - and it was extremely good. So take it as you will.
