While I don't think there's enough "content" in this book to read it as a story at a storytime, I do really like the different breathing techniques! I would definitely incorporate these into a meditation or a mindfulness activity for kids. I liked how each letter challenges the reader to envision something, like blowing out the candles on a cake, to make the breathing exercise feel more applicable.

We loved this book. My daughter and I practiced the mindful breathing exercises for each letter. She suggested we do a different one every day. I agree.

I got excited when I first discovered this book, which was only recently. It is a creative and very engaging way to teach children mindful breathing. Would recommend to teachers. I want to buy this for my personal collection as well.

I want to add this book to the professional collection where I work. It is excellent for ideas about mindfulness without coming off as new age leaning and what not (you know, what people hate these days)

Not a great read aloud but it would be a great resource for a yoga story time.

A very beautifully illustrated reference of breathing techniques, framed in such a way as to be very accessible to any age. I wish they were cards that I could hang up.
