There's a lot of miscommunication. I mean a LOT of miscommunication. Aside from that, if you liked S&D you will probably like this one!

Another really compelling and wild ride from Mahurin full of intrigue and romantic pining and magic. I don't think the plot was as tight as the first one, and it definitely felt a little long and meandering in parts. But overall a good time.

I gasped at THAT ending. I can't wait until the sequel to this because oh my god. What a twist. The last 100 pages or so really kind of pulled this book out of middling to good and that ending just sucker punched me.
