Makima is incredibly creepy in chapter 27. In chapter 29, the hospital scene and Denji questioning his humanity,

namely if he would cry if Power, Aki, and Makima died,

was such a powerful moment. Oh, and Kishibe is great as the cool and jaded mentor.

Makima is scary but also super interesting and hot. I’m excited to know her secrets. It was kinda just a book. Stuff happened but nothing was that interesting other then makima being a bad bitch and Aki being sad.

I’m also excited to see how the future devil works for aki.

This one didn't have that many action scenes however, it gave us a taste of what other things Makima can do. Though, I'm worried about Aki. Learning that our feral boy Denji may not have

empathy

will probably be troublesome. 

The art: As always, I enjoyed it completely. Tatsuki Fujimoto draws in beautiful detail and I'm a sucker for that.
The plot: There's multiple things going on but this volume could be read fast. They don't stick to one thing and let it drag on. Which is why I'm enjoying this manga series so far.
