this volume was a little hard to analyze with all of the action going on and our first taste at Makima's powers. the new characters being introduced is starting to get to me. it's a little hard to keep track of everyone because not everybody is getting the amount of screentime to improve their character.

WOW, this volume was intense, I have so many questions regarding WHAT Makima is and who her devil is because dang, that was just fucked up. I actually felt sorry for the bad guys. Denji and Power get some intense training, or well, I am not sure if I would call it that, it was just fucked up again. Don't know how that guy could do all that and how those two idiots would allow it to happen. Then again, I guess they have no choice. There were lots of gore moments, some sad moments (poor Aki), some cray cray moments, and I love the guts of Makima near the end. Also loved seeing some other devils pop up from the squads. Like a dude with a shark's head or a girl turning into a spider.
I am quite excited about the next volume. Yes, it is all very fucked up and gore, but I also cannot stop reading this series.

I am now hooked, the action is gotten to its peak since vol one.
And I am falling in love with the characters more and more!!
They are not the typical kind
Of course, tragedy is here now, but definitely, it was to get the story pushed up so I didn't mind it much. the author is really detailed he really found the right time to insert the push-up scene and not just go into a hysteric fit killing everyone like some authors.
I appreciate the purposed kills.

Jumping to vol 5 immediately adding this to my fav mangas all time
