The story was okay. It had a good premise. The hero was really stubborn and it got on my nerves how much he ran away in the end.

This story is a more serious view of regency times than most books for the period. It wasn't much about parties or fashion either. Basically about real life and how it can be dealt with. One part was a little far fetched but I won't give away any of the plot.

This is not my usual type of book. It has the feeling of a "Mills and Boon" romance but is surprisingly easy to read and has a depth not usually apparent in those formulaic books. I would read more of those

A nice escape story that I didn't have to think too hard about.

Oh I badly wish I could give this one more stars. As much as I found the story cozy and beautifully written, the characters intriguing, I absolutely did NOT enjoy the book's hero. He just...he was too much angst for me and not enough making up for it there at the end. I'm not deterred from any more books by this author (I have 5 others from this series downloaded all ready to go) but I just wish the hero hadn't completly sucked.

Loved this story!

I really enjoyed this story. I loved the characters especially Rosabel. The love that develops between her and her husband is amazing.
