3.5 for the whole volume

X-Men: 3.5 I like that instead of just someone that hates mutants, it was someone that loves plants

Marauders: 4 not as fun as the other ones but still good, Marauders continue to carry these collections

Excalibur: 3 I’m pretty tired of this storyline, I can’t wait for it to end especially because because the magic aspect makes this has a lot of potential, maybe I’ll read the original run

New Mutants: 3 can we go back to space, at least the setting was cool, and I know even less about these people

X-Force: 3.5 last one was more exiting but it was still good

Fallen Angels: 2 I really hate these series and I’m confused the whole time, at least it was short

I’m basically reusing a review across this series, as it seems to hold as things go on. Overall it’s a bunch of highs and lows. Some books are consistently excellent (Marauders, X-Force, Wolverine, and it looks like X-Factor & Hellions will join that group) while some are middling to mediocre (Excalibur being the worst of the lot, plus Cable being so-so, and the main X-Men book varying in quality from one issue to the next). I’m still reading, so the overall whole is quality, and the whole setting that they’ve established is still unique and intriguing. It’s like a house of cards that we know is doomed to fall eventually, it’s just a question of when and how)

The individual titles continue to vary in quality. X-Men and Marauders are great, X-Force and Excalibur are good, Fallen Angels and New Mutants are weaker.

Fairly decent mid-arc installments. Nothing that stood out as awesome, nothing that horribly annoyed me.
