I thought it was intriguing with good characters and dialog. The author took an outrageous plot line and weaved a compelling story.

I enjoyed this entertaining story. It certainly made me think of the perils of people having the ability to read minds! I didn’t realize until I had started the book that this is #2 in a series. I may listen to the others at some point in the future.

4.5 in reality I like this book a lot it's right up my alley and I blew through it. the concept is interesting and the charecters are strong. I like the style the book used flipping between important charecters. There were a few genuinely surprising moments but they didn't always hit quite as impactfully as they could have or would have in say a Blake crouch novel. that being said sometimes I have to put down Blake crouch to catch my breath so I don't need every book to be that intense

The characters are extremely unlikable, the plot is boring, cant bring myself to care even slightly about these characters or the story itself. I have no clue how this is rated over 4 stars
