Amazing, I loved it.
Unfortunately a lot of men need to read this book, And it is even sadder that a lot of women need to read this book as well to understand their rights and how they should be treated in society.

wow this was really good. it really portrayed the struggles of woman in korea especially when it comes to equality, careers, motherhood, etc. thank u namjoon for the book rec

It’s one of those books you have to take some time to absorb. Definitely worth the read, nice and quick. Thought-provoking and educational in a way.

This book follows Kim Jiyoung through her childhood, adolescence, adulthood and marriage. There is no particular story in this book but just about the most common things happened to Kim jiyoung during different periods of her life but with the systematic and casual misgony happening in the society.
Ever wonder a book with the most detached and monotone style can make u feel disturbed and angry. Okay then this book can tick that box. I felt everybody should read this book once in their life to think about the granted things women are doing for them in their lifes. The book was set up in Korea but the experiences of Jiyoung were universal especially when I saw reviews of the book before reading this I saw the similar experiences of the people around the world sharing it in the reviews rather than talking about the book which can explains how much they related to it.
Yes overt sexism is undercontrol right now but the casual misgony is still lingering even now!!!
