Molly Shannon was such a big star when I was a kid so I thought this was such an interesting look at her life and her career. If you're not familiar with her work, especially on SNL, it might not be as interesting to you. I would recommend the audio, which she reads with so much enthusiasm and energy you just want to keep listening.

This was an awesome memoir written by one of my fave SNL comedians! Loved it as an audiobook.

I’m not one for celebrity memoirs, but this was such a pleasure to read. Listening to the audiobook adds the—I believe necessary—perk of listening to Molly Shannon read this herself. It adds so much intimacy and humor to the experience. While this is a very funny book full of surprising stories from her childhood up to her time on SNL, it is also a heart wrenching book, beginning with her mother and sister’s death in a car accident when she was 4 years old. I found this audiobook to be relatable and beautiful and hilarious and accessible and charming and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Molly Shannon - I love her even more after hearing her story! It starts out as a shock. I was completely unaware of her childhood, unaware how Mary Kate came to be…thoroughly enjoyed all of it, and think she’s awesome!
