Solid book with good relatable characters. <Spoiler> I especially liked that the ending wasn't your typical "happy ever after", but still felt happy.

Or "The self-centred, egomaniac, smug 'Bridget Jones diary' of infertile conception". Meh.
Hails barely one star just for the joy of incessantly reading "shag", "bonk", "wank" and "willy".

I wasn't a massive fan of the diary style entries and found the plot a little bit predictable but there were some funny little sections and overall it was a nice read. Not amazing but not crap either.

It was OK, but definitely not Elton's best - it wasn't as entertaining and fun as his other works. In fact, it became a bit repetitious and predictable from time to time - esp. the parts on Sam's job.
