This book was TERRIBLE. I hate finished it. The FMC was THE literal worst.

Another fun foray into bonkers erotica from Ruby Dixon. I did have fun reading this, but I think part of the reason I love the Ice Planet Barbarian books so much is that there are no human men and the world, for all its ice dangers, just doesn't fundamentally suck like this world does. I'm intrigued enough to eventually read the sequel (I am interested in seeing if they ever build a community since that's also what I felt was kind of lacking) and again, it's a weird good time, but it just wasn't up to my usual enjoyment of Dixon's work.

Last Ruby Dixon book I will read. There’s not even enough time to list all the things I disliked about this, but just a quick recap in case I ever contemplate reading another Ruby Dixon book: Claudia’s inner monologue was both annoying and repetitive, lots of filler, repetitive, no plot (and Claudia constantly afraid that she will be raped is not a plot), repetitive, misogyny, repetitive, Claudia’s internalized misogyny, repetitive, poor world-building, and repetitive. This wasn’t even fun to read.

2.5 idk. This was just okay, but I will continue. Claudia was fine. It was so repetitive, oh my gosh! Also, I really didn't see any connection beyond you = good sex/mate.

I have a lot of issues with this FMC.

Claudia claims to love her sister but when her big bad dragon man says "I'll do anything for you" she makes him take her to get stuff for an apartment instead of saving Amy?? Not to mention her knowing Sasha has to do dangerous and degrading things to stay alive but doesn't worry about her because "she can take care of herself". It's infuriating.
