DNF 60% This book may be applicable to some creators (i.e. writers, painters, composers) but it didn’t have the general advice for creativity that I was hoping for (I.e. self-expression, the performing arts, etc.)

First impressions after reading the book: WOW!

I loved it all. I imagine creative people will love it, but so would other people (if they would creatively read between the lines).

There are so many lines that I have annotated and I really want to go through them again.

I am so grateful that I wan this book in goodread's giveaway.

It is easy to read this book and pick on things like, "how can the author thing that ideas have a soul of their own". But if this book is read metaphorically and read as a conversation between you and the author, I think it can be liberating.

(After I let the ideas marinate a little longer, I might write a proper review).

I really enjoyed the personal examples and the encouraging spirit that permeates this book. Definitely recommend!

I like reading books like this because they are just gentle reminders of how we can think differently or do differently. Do I think the book was big magic? No. But it was magic enough.
