This book had me gripped asf. I knew it would be unhinged and that I would eat it up but I didn't know how much lmao. Yes, it's edgelord bizarro sh¡t but worth every minute read. I just didn't like the ending tho bc I honestly wanted Nick and Louise to get away with murder(s) and Harlan's bitch ass kidnapping. (Maybe they will I don't know? Maybe they can convince Officer Doughnut to cover everything up and get him published in return?? lol I don't know I just feel Nick needs a break.) Like I was liking Harlan in the beginning bc I was even finding some relatable traits in him but once it's revealed he isn't a TRUE bona fide hater but just made it his mission to hate on BILF Publishing bc he was rejected by Nick, I kinda started hating him too. Which is something bc everyone here is terrible, morally bankrupt but unbelievably very likable. Idk you have to read this to see how bad and stupid the situations are and everyone is but that at the same time is so highly enjoyable bc surprisingly it has a lot of heart when it comes to the topics of writing, small press publishing life, authors, wannabes, and bad reviewers. Just beware that this book has some serious religious mocking and sacrilegious offensive imagery regarding Christ and stuff. So if you're a believer, and even though this book is obviously meant to be edgy, will still be offended of reading about religious erotica then this book isn't for you so best if you skip it. Max Booth III, I think this is a positive review pls don't come snatch me lmao
