This lands somewhere between 3 and 4 stars for me, but I'll round it to a 3. A charming collection of short stories that remains fairly consistent in quality throughout. The stories are all dark, atmospheric and surreal, and I found the endings were well done and in line with the themes presented.

My biggest critique is the titles of the short stories - they spoil so much of the reveals! The Great Awake and Granite were standouts, with The Collectables being the only real dud for me.

The stories were weird & wasn't able to connect with most of them.

Wolf sisters, ghost girlfriends, and newborns that belong to the sea. Evocative and strange and beautiful.
