Needless to say, this book is rather weird. A cat-filled adventure of agony, to sum it all up.

I like horror books, but this one simply wasn't up my alley because of the way it was written. I felt no build up to any horror elements at all.

Interesting concept, not my favourite genre but an easy enough read

Enjoyable enough, but the subject matter was not something I particularly liked--nine-lives cats with some kind of masters that answer to Beelzebub (though the story is more about unraveling a story than details, so it was no where near as demonic as you would imagine).

4.5 stars. A perfect little horror book by the author of Eats shoots and leaves. If you like Gothica and have always been deeply suspicious of cats true intentions towards their human hosts, then this is the book for you :)
