The last volume....I'm sad it's over :((( but I'm happy with the ending and the side stories. Definitely one of my favourite mangas of all times. Dengeki Daisy never failed to make me laugh and smile and cry. Going to miss the characters !

This series has finally come to an end, and a very good one at that.

It’s been building up to it, and that cliffhanger was not very nice. And thankfully, the conclusion comes rather quickly after that. We see how the three of them got out, and then how they recover from it. Akira in the hospital, the others going back to normal. I don’t want to spoil too much, so I won’t go into detail. But I think it was rather well done.

And then we get several extra chapters, filling in some holes, and then some nice backstory for Soichiro. We get a nice glimpse at Teru and Kurosaki, how they’re going forward together and on their own.

We end with a one shot debut from Motomi, which is about what you’d expect a debut story to be. Not the best, really.

But the series ends on a really great note, for all of the characters. I’m particularly happy for Teru and Kurosaki, but I’m also glad with Akira’s conclusion.

I look forward to reading her next series.

A nice story, though it dragged on a bit. It had some great life lessons that I'll take with me. The characters were quite well written. The story overall was okay. Though I would have liked a bit more romance. It seemed to have been forgotten when it was nearing the ending. I would have loved to see the grown up relationship of Kurosaki and Teru. But I'm very glad it didn't end with just a wedding.

This is easily one of the best manga series that I have ever read. The last couple of volumes did such an amazing job connecting everything from the very start. So. Many. Twists. I did not see those coming and I am so, so happy they did.

Aaaah im gonna miss my beloved daisy and teru chan.
What a beautiful ending i really liked how everything went well with akira and all that. Seeing the professors videos was so emotional, and also seeing souchirou cry and scared teared me up, i never knew that he was scared but im proud of what hes done all for the sake of the people he trusts most! I really love him and what he did. And also the extra last chapter about the baby was super cute and funny! I really liked it
All in all this was suchh an amazing read, and whenever im sad I’ll definitely reread it again cuz it lifts my spirits and makes me happy🙂

After all the build up about Akira and M's last testament I was expecting the resolution to continue in the present to maintain the urgency and danger, but it's told in flashback. And, in merely one chapter. Just fifty pages. The rest of this volume is bonus material; some cut scenes and a debut story.

Chapters

* Final chapter of Dengeki Daisy.
* Bonus - Teru and Tasuka Kurosaki scenes where we glimpse Kurosaki's more mature feelings.
* Bonus - Two page christmas scene.
* Bonus - A Souchiro backstory with Riko and then... Anthra! Definitely worth reading.
* Bonus - Teru and Kurosaki in the future
Spoilergetting saddled with babysitting. Sure, this hints at their future marriage and potential parenting ability.
But... Meh.
* Bonus - Kyousuke Motomi's debut story... wasn't fussed.

Overall I enjoyed Dengeki Daisy for many reasons. The artwork obviously. A smart and funny coming of age heroine in Teru. The conflicted and tormented protector, Daisy. Character depth and their relationships which give emotional punch. Engaging story arcs (especially Akira's even though it's extremely dramatic), and healthy doses of humour even if it's often goofy. Go bald, Kurosaki!

Yes! I have finished Dengeki Daisy. I knew this story would not be a normal romance from the get go, where Daisy is reading Teru's email that's all happy and go lucky while watching her surrounded by bullies getting sprayed in the face. Then them first meeting, and him threatening her... Talk about unconventional! And yet I adore it!

The finale is unexpected, and then the extra chapters are adorable and continue the story beyond a typical epilogue--even for a manga. Great finale to a great series!

attn world: kyousuke motomi has attempted to murder me

the weapon? OVERWHELMING CUTENESS

like. what was this volume even. kurosaki paints teru's nails. there's a parallel drawn between kurosaki heart-eyeing over soichiro and riko and akira doing the same about teru and kurosaki. there's an entire side story about teru and kurosaki taking care of a baby together.

this is lethal grade fluff and i was not prepared. at least when fandom does babyfic they warn me in advance so i can steel my heart

anyways. consider this my public service announcement to the world. dengeki daisy volume 16 wraps up the actual story in like one chapter so as to leave nearly an entire volume in which to kill you slowly via adorableness
