DNFed at halfway through. I didn't have the heart to give it a one star but I could not finish this for shit. Look, it's an interesting concept and like the characters are likable but I'm sorry I was sooooo fucking bored. I actually don't know what the plot was, and I was halfway through. I don't even know if the main character was Emi, the narrator, or Ava, the girl this entire book focuses on. Sooooo yeah. I tried, I really did, but I'm not gonna waste my time.

I absolutely devoured this book! I freaking LOVED reading about someone who works with sets; not only was it fascinating as hell but I learned a bit about the specific positions within that realm!

However, I found Emi overly cheesy and I found her interest in Ava...kind of weird. Maybe it’s because I don’t understand or find people who meet and fall in love within a month realistic but I didn’t care about Emi and Ava’s romance.

That being said the plot was exciting and kept me reading so overall a decent read!
(It would be 3.5 if Goodreads allowed half stars)
