The Axis Quartet is a novella comprised of a series of short stories and it's one of the most charming, hilarious books I've read in a while! It follows the adventures of this sentient Roomba and his family - his mom and dad, as he calls them, and their pets - a cat, a turtle and a cute lil Dalmation pup!

The stories in this novella are fun and slice-of-life like, and just made me feel very mushy and happy inside! They're also kind of hilarious- I mean, IT'S A SENTIENT ROOMBA, YOU GUYS, COME ON!!

The book has five short stories, and I loved the first three a lot! The last two however ended up stretching my suspension of disbelief a bit too far and I couldn't really buy into them as easily. That being said, they were still funny and I got a good laugh out of them anyway!

This book is perfect for the fans of stories like The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy. It's a story that, while it seems serious, also doesn't take itself too seriously. And it's a story that will warm your heart as it tickles your funny bone! Would 100% recommend this if you're looking for a fun, light read to add to your tbr!!
