Reminescent of Like Water For Chocolate for many reasons; the Latin American setting, the intermingling of love (and sex) and food. Good, quick read that was enjoyable enough.

This is one of the two weirdest books I have ever read.

It's like The Awakening + Alice in Wonderland + Like Water for Chocolate put together.

The protagonist is a stupid woman and her journey to sexual awakening is the most ridiculous thing ever. However, I was still amused throughout it, I guess. :)
