Now I get why so many love Emily Henry’s writing

I loved every bit of this book. I wasn’t expecting to like it that much but I was so good the banter between all the characters was amazing.

I love Charlie and Nora as a couple but as individuals too it was good to get to know them.
This book is very character driven, it’s about how they’re perceived by ppl who don’t know them as well as ppl who do know them but both of these don’t know the real them until they get to know and get each other on another level (yeah I said the word know a million times)

I’m in love with this book it made me laugh as well as cry which was so refreshing for a romance.

I want my own Charlie

4.5 ⭐️

Emily Henry just has a way with words! From the blurb on the back of the book, this book was different than what I had thought. Our boy Charlie was DOWN BAD for Nora and I 1000% support it. Had me literally crying at the end between Nora and Libby’s relationship and just Charlie being Charlie. The only thing holding me back from rating it a 5 ⭐️ was the way that Charlie was described and his name just being Charlie. I don’t know why but all I could picture was a grandpa. I knew he wasn’t but I just couldn’t see him as like 35.

Overall, loved

this is the first romance book I've ever read in my life, so I'm not totally sure how to rate this. this was super enjoyable and I was so into the main characters' relationship, and I loved their banter. I was going to give it four stars, but there's honestly nothing I didn't enjoy about this book or would have done better so I think it deserves five!

Boring
Redundant
One dimensional characters
Cheesy, Cringey lines
Weak plot

Hallmark movies are not my thing so I should known this wasn’t going to end well for me. But, so many people loved it, I had to give it a shot. Oofff.
