Clearly intellectual with broad themes that were well articulated. I just found the composition (I.e., the physical layout) quite difficult. Drawn out paragraphs with little breaks. Obviously this adds the overall surrealism of it all, but still think short stories are more of his forte.

like a 3.5 maybe? it fluctuates, but a solid book about two different artist.
