Nooooooooooo!!!!! Not a cliffy! I need the next book NOW! What a read! I absolutely loved this story...couldn't put it down. I was completely drawn in from the get-go! I'm a sucker for suspense and twists and turns. This book just did it for me! This is absolutely my favorite Rebecca Shea book to date! WOW!

Am I really alone in thinking that this book doesn't have anything ? I couldn't even finish it, I'm not sure I'm even halfway through the book but I seriously can't continue.
I mean, it starts with a tragedy then she meets boy and boy is intrigued and invites her immediately to live with him despite his secrets : instalove. She is stupid enough to go live with a guy who picks her up in the street. He says that he has this instant need to protect her and they already feel like they have known each other forever, even though it's been 2 days. It makes no sense whatsoever and I'm sorry I'm in the minority but I can't understand how it has such a good rating.

I went into BROKEN BY LIES, like I do with all romantic suspense books, knowing as little as possible. I like to see where the story takes me as though I was right there in it with the characters. Well, let me just say, oh, my goodness. Rebecca Shea, you have slayed me, shaken me up and thrown my heart for a loop.
This is a book that definitely needs to be read without spoilers, because you need to experience it without knowing what's coming. But, oh, my gosh, get ready, because Rebecca will rock your world with all the action, the betrayal, the passion. Emilia and Alex absolutely stole my heart, and I was constantly on the edge of my seat, waiting to see what would happen next.
And, can you say, holy mother of all cliffhangers? Cliffies aren't a deal breaker for me; I kind of like them, because it's like there's a whole new world just waiting to be explored with the next book. Don't let it put you off, either, because, friends, I am telling you that BROKEN BY LIES is one that you do not want to miss. 4.5 'sexy, dangerous, oh, my gosh, what just happened' stars for a great read. I can't wait to see what happens in BOUND BY LIES; it's going to be epic.

Well, that was intense! Can't wait to hear what's next after that cliffhanger! I thought the storyline was well written and the narration was excellent. Right from the start I was drawn into it, and didn't want to stop listening. On to book 2!
