Loved the fact that it gets more realistic you know?
I mean, a lot of times books are kinda perfect and not very realistic in the problems a teenage relationship may encounter. The first book was about the perfect romance, this one is Lucy and Justin fighting for each other and trying to remain truth to themselves as individuals.
I'm not going to lie, I would've loved to know who was behind the pictures, and why Alex broke up with his girlfriend.
Another big thing was Marissa, I mean I hated her the first book, and in this one I felt really bad for her. Glad to know who she ends up with.

The epilogue people, it was simple but one of the most memorables for me.

I had to re-read the first book before reading this book and I even liked the first book more than the first time. But in this book I felt like this wasn't Justin we knew in "Effortless With You". If he was just another character it might have been ok for me, but here I felt like Justin's personality is 100% changed.

I really enjoyed this book. Lucy and Justin are an adorable couple but have a unique situation - Justin's dad is running for governor and his family is in the media. I really loved Effortless With You and couldn't wait to read this follow-up book. It is different than the first and I was slightly disappointed with Justin in this book and the way he handled certain situations. I love that this book was dual POV. I really enjoyed the supporting characters. I hope that there will be more books in this series - I would really like more Justin and Lucy!

I enjoyed the first book in this series but this one did not do it for me. It was way too cheesy and unrealistic for my taste. There were some parts I thought were cute but for the most part I felt myself rolling my eyes as I read. Some things felt a little rushed which I also didn't enjoy. Eh.

Another great and easy read.
Told in dual perspectives, Perfectly Messy follows Lucy and Justin’s love story.
Effortless With You was about the journey to love and Perfectly Messy is about the journey of love. It delves in to the messy side of love. And how love can conquer when we let it.
