Il est tard mais je viens de terminer ce livre. Je l’ai lu par recommandation de ma remplaçante de français (<3) et franchement je ne pensais pas aimer. Au début c’était un peu lent mais plus j’avançais dans l’histoire, plus celle-ci m’intéressait et j’ai vraiment hésité entre 3,5 et 3,75 étoiles mais j’ai tellement réagi dans ce livre que j’ai mis la note la plus élevée possible mais j’aurais pas non plus mis 4 ou plus car c’est pas trop mon genre habituel de lecture. Merci à cette prof incroyable, elle me manque. :(

This book was actually amazing. I don't read much in french, mostly just for my french classes and this was one of the books I had to read for a class and it turned out really good! I like how the author explains with such detail about the main characters life and there was nothing that was not needed in the story. Every detail either contributed to the plot or the character development and it was written so well. I honestly recommend this book 100% to everyone. Its an emotional book that teaches readers somewhat of what people went through during that time, all the loss and the pain. This book is truly amazing.

very very heavy book, did learn a whole lot! And I think it’s important that these books keep being read in schools, because I didn’t know anything about a war or even that the tutsi’s and hutu’s existed!!! Which is unbelievable!!!!!! Wtf!!!!!!! Its sosososo important that we get taught these things so we don’t repeat them in the future. And this way you see what it does to a child.

J'ai entendu de ce livre dans un club de lecture sur italki. J'avais l'impression que ce livre était génial, et en général, ce livre est excellent et incroyable. C'est mon cinquième livre en français et je vous recommande de lire ce livre dans la version originale ou la version en anglais ; ça dépend avec votre langues qui vous connaissez bien.
