A thoroughly enjoyable wee romp in the world of "Folk'd", where the great celtic legends live on in the modern world as best they can. The characters aren't quite as fully-formed as those in the main Folk'd trilogy, but that's not a problem in a shorter tale such as this and they are all quite memorable. It's a nice insight into the history behind the main books and a good introduction to the sense of humour of the author (liberally laced with colourful Belfast expletives). If Robert Rankin were from Northern Ireland, this is the kind of story I imagine he might write.
