In realtà ho letto l'edizione hardcover, ma vabbé.
Non molto dissimile dalla valanga di New Adult in giro... ma scritto abbastanza bene. A parte per lo slut shaming nei confronti delle tipe che cercano continuamente di saltare addosso a Braden.

So, 3.5 stars for this one.
I went into this book looking for a light read. All the books on my To-Read-Next list were the kind that required too much brain and concentration for my liking. So, when something like that happens, read a romance! I have nothing against romances, but we all know that they're much easier to read that the next Percy Jackson...
The name, description and the fact that it is one of the earlier works of the writer, I expected something fun, light and cliche, but not too cliche. And I have to say, I was not disappointed. This book even surpassed my expectations in some respects.
I had some issues.
One was the typos. There weren'y many, but they were noticeable. Another was that the ending was stretched. The book could've ended a lot sooner and simpler. I felt that the issue was exaggerated. But at the same time, some things that happened die to that exaggeration gave the book more depth. So, it wasn't all bad.
Other than that, I wanted more of role for Pierce. In the description, his role was hinted to be important. But it wasn't. It was resolved too easily. We didn't even get to know what he usually did to get the money he needed. We guessed, but there was nothing said for certain.
Other than that, this was a highly enjoyable book. I loved reading it and I will definitely be reading the next one.

Forse quattro stelle sono troppe, ma a volte servono storie leggere e senza grossi drammi, letture veloci che fanno passare qualche ora, sarà scontata ma questo gioco mi è proprio piaciuto! Ne cerco un'altro simile va...

Knihu jsem přečetla za pouhý den a trvalo mi to zhruba 4 hodiny. Čtení mi ubíhalo opravdu rychle a opravdu jsem si knihu užila. Už se nemůžu dočkat druhého dílu. :)

Ten překlad je fakt otřesnej; absence čárek nebo jejich přebytek v každé třetí větě a spousta slov taky kostrbatých... Je to oddechovka, hned to máte za sebou, žádný zázrak. Na druhé čtení mě to spíš štvalo.

Made it 20%. couldn't get into it. Seems like there's so many of these stories already. Good girl is in a bet to make manslut fall in love with her, meanwhile he has one going to get into the good girls pants. This has been done plenty of times and this is why I was bored through it and had to stop

I DONT CARE IF THIS BOOK WAS CHEESY, OR TYPICAL. I LOVED IT.
It really reminded me of "Beautiful Disaster" and I can honestly say I've never read a "play the player" storyline so this is new!
To keep it short and simple, Maddie and Brayden aren't perfect. They didn't fall in love the second their eyes met, but it was an unexpected kind of love and it was perfect to them.
"5 CHEESY, TYPICAL, CAVEMAN STARS"

Really liked this one. Liked the fact that she wasn't the perfect girl - kind of wish that we could have seen the meet the parents moments, that would have been the icing on the cake:)
