I liked the Trungles story. I bought this after reading another book of his, The Magic Fish. The art was so pretty I went looking for more. I enjoyed the story in this. It was well drawn and I liked the themes and messaging. 4 stars.

“Treasured” - a standout in art, and the better story in this issue, but “Unbound” was okay (skimmed it) and “Legacies” was confusing but, okay.
So there we have it. Twisted Romance was ultimately okay, issue #2 was its strongest, followed by 4, then 3, then 1.
I like what this collection wanted to do, it’s a shame it didn’t fulfill its promise. I would like to see this tried again, but... better.
