I just finished this book and all I have to say it that I surprisingly fell in love with it.
It was my first book by this author and I enjoyed her writing style and the way she portrayed the different characters. 
I loved Benji’s energy just as well as Lila’s and would’ve loved to see more about these characters. Though there were only side characters they made me enjoy the story much more and just added that certain special something in supporting the main characters.
River’s and Anastasia’a development was captivating from the very beginning and I liked the way they interacted. Despite there being some miscommunication which always makes me kind of frustrated I just loved their relation and everything else about the story.
One minor flaw for me was that we didn’t really learn anything about the main characters of the following two books. In this book alone they weren’t missing but I feel like it would be nice to get to know them better in the first book to be more intrigued to read their stories in the next books. 
The only thing missing to make this a 5 star read for me is that the story isn’t as unique and memorable as I’d wish for it to be.
Anyway I’m definitely going to read the whole series in hope of seeing more about the characters we already know and to hopefully be just as captives by the new characters.
