The Revenge Pact was the best out of the three, though not perfect. I’m not sure why I bothered with the following books in the series as I’ve tried and failed with the other two author’s books, mostly the writing style is not for me. So both are DNFs.

the ending reaaaaally fell flat for me in this one. I just feel like there was so much tension and build up and then everything just got resolved all of a sudden.

I’ve given this a 3.5 star rating purely because the banter was fun and the personality of the characters were different. We have a sensitive/softie alpha who does sports, is president of a frat and suffers from learning difficulties, and a quirky/free-spirited girl with lowkey abandonment issues stemming from her parents and she wants to study law (opposites most definitely attract). The book had the right formula, it should have been a banger had it not been so obvious how the wrong couple ended up together straight away.

Oh, River... my new favorite book boyfriend. He really stole my heart with his intelligence, loyalty and his beautiful soul.
Anastasia is just as lovable,I love the quirky girls with big hearts and smarts.
They have fun banter as well as with the secondary characters. Clever quips and funny moments added a lot of fun.
There’s emotional and serious aspects that make it such a well rounded and great story!
The slow burn and angst was paced perfectly, the chemistry and friendship was SO awesome!
I love the little things that slowly come to light from the past that make the romance that much sweeter and meaningful.
The secondary characters are great, they are funny and smart. They add a lot of character to the story.
I absolutely adore this book and characters!
And The Outsiders and X-Files references made this fan very happy.

This book was extremely cute. I could really see the connection between River and Anastasia, and they do seem perfect for each other. I would have preferred a little bit more drama with a swooning amount of grovelling, but I guess it was also sweet to see them work out so well without much trouble.

Adorable!
Super cute rom-com! Maybe the tiniest bit cheesy at times, but River is definitely swoonworthy!! Ill be sure to continue with the rest of the series.
