Moriarty is a master of writing novels where you can't put them down because you're desperate to find the plot twist to which she keeps alluding! I enjoyed this book, and it really makes you think how much your life changes in 10 years time-- especially from age 29 to 39. She also perfectly captured the exhausting insanity of life with small children (sullen attitudes, one question after another, never a silent moment) and how that can drive a couple apart if they let it (feelings of unfairness, lack of sleep and communication, the need for meaningful adult interaction). I loved Big Little Lies and although this isn't as good as that novel, but it is still an enjoyable read.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a fun read. It should be noted that there is a lot of infertility discussion in this book, so if that's something you rather not read about I would suggest skipping this book.
