Highly recommend for a page-turner, light but still gave me lots to think about. Couldn't put it down!
I really wanted to give it 5 stars.
I loved everything about this book except the ending, that time jump without explaining how Alice and Nick got back together again for me was a crime, also the jump was so big and sudden.
I just wish the author used that epilogue to talk about the way her perspective changed after getting her memory back, I thought this was one of the book's points. While reading the book I thought the ending would be about more than just a happy ending, more about the Hows and Whys, something to show how much that memory loss and her being her 29 self for that week changed the way she sees things now.
Nevertheless I loved the book, especially the 2nd half, with all the children and family moments, it was so entertaining to read, really needed that.

This one took me a little while to finish, as I felt it dragged a little in the middle, but overall it was a delightful read. Alice wakes up after hitting her head and finds that she cannot remember the last 10 years of her life. A journey of self revelation that allowed me to ponder on some important questions. The epilogue truly made the novel.
Absolutely loved this book. It really made me think about how I've changed in the last 10 years.

I enjoyed this book! It was one I would not have picked up myself, but found its way to me through a book club. I mostly listened to this one as an Audiobook, and enjoyed the discussion I had about it after the fact.
I found the characters to be interesting, and deep, as well as the uncovering of new memories to be approachable and seemingly realistic. The conflicts between characters, as well as the complexities of the relationships between side characters was well explored, with fleshed out and interesting dynamics.
For the writing style, Moriarty wrote prose from Alice’s perspective, a blog entry style (including comments) from Alice’s grandmother and a journal entry style from her sister Elizabeth. I loved this, as I think it gave additional context to the story and the unfolding lives, plus uncovering memories (both painful and happy) for the ten years Alice forgot.
The ending felt rushed and disconnected to me. I can’t imagine the characters, namely Nick, being willing to move back in. Their relationship issues, and his feelings after Alice’s treatment of him, were never appropriately addressed.
"Fast forward 10 years of your life, what a premise"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Absolutely! Mind-shifting! Take a little time and walk in the shoes of the main character, it's a fun and moving read!
What did you like best about this story?
The premise, you wake up from a head injury and you have forgotten the last 10 years - what assumptions about your relationship then would you make now! Beautifully written!
What does Caroline Lee bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Energy and fun! She brings the humour out fabulous!
Any additional comments?
Love Liane Moriarty and this is a favourite amongst her novels
