3.5 stars. Fully captivating, but quite slow and I have to admit it made me sad (and maybe a little bitter?) 99% of the time. Still a really nice story though.

This was a good one! Moriarty does a great job of creating teasers that makes you want to keep on reading. It was a little long and I didn’t entirely understand the purpose/length of some of the other perspectives (and would have liked to see some of the males) but a great summer read!
More like 3.5 stars, bordering on 4.
What I liked most about it was that it was very relatable. How many of us look in the mirror sometimes and think “What happened to me?”
A very interesting take on being able to look back at a decade of your life and assess it from a more detached viewpoint.
Although I liked the overall point of the subplots with Elisabeth and Frannie, I wasn’t a huge fan of the diary entries and their placements. It didn’t feel seamless. It kind of knocked you out of the overall narrative for a bit.

Didn't have much expectation of it when I started. Just read it because it was one of the books that were passed to me.
First chapter or so was just ok. Setting the scene and I didn't feel it was anything special. But once Alice started to rediscover her life, trying to make sense of her life, why people looked or treated her certain ways, it got interesting.
This book is like time travelling story packaged in a different way. What would you do if you had a chance to repeat the last ten years of your life? It made me draw parallel with my own life. How having three kids can change your relationship with your husband, how for every scenario, there are always more than one perceptions.
