Slow to start but really enjoyed it once I got into story.

LOVE this author! What would you do if you lost 10 years of memories? Interesting idea. Great characters.

A really great novel about a woman who suffers a TBI and wakes up forgetting the past ten years of her life. She is forced to reckon with how the significant relationships in her life have changed, without knowing why.

Such an interesting premise, and a nightmare situation I never imagined before! I think this is one of Liane's more tense novels I've read...couldn't help but associate with the character and feel uneasy on her behalf. Relief when, as Liane's novels inevitably do, things sorted out.

Unlike the rest of the goodreads world, this book was only okay for me. I found the premise annoying. I do not like when the main character lets life happen to them without taking care of things they have control over. Why didn't she fight harder to get her memory back? to learn about all she missed? She just slopped along. The ending tried but was only okay.

This ended so beautifully and the cascade of thoughts and profound moments I experienced was countless. Immaturity in marriage lead to moments that tainted the relationship, so when Alice wakes up and has forgotten these memories, it’s an eraser for all the toxicity. The story moves so perfectly and I loved it all! I LOVE how Liane Moriarty writes!
